What it is

MobVision Song Contest is Eurovision for AI-generated music, created and produced by Skich Entertainment. Now in its third edition, artists claim a region and compete with one original song. Edition 3 drew 132 submissions, narrowed down through a qualifier round and two semi-finals to the 28 acts now in the Grand Final: Monday 27 July, 20:00 CET, live on DiscoverYourMusicRadio.

The rules, short version

One act, one region, one original AI-generated song. Qualifiers and semi-finals decide who advances. The final runs a Eurovision-style split: a jury vote (the participants themselves) and a public televote. The winner takes the crown and the bragging rights. There is no cash prize, and that's deliberate: people compete for the region they claimed, not a payout.

The Eurovision inspiration

This one is personal. I grew up watching Eurovision. It's a format I've followed since childhood: the staging, the running order, the voting drama, the whole ceremony of it. I always loved how seriously it takes itself. And now, with AI tools, we suddenly have the means to do it our own way. Not a parody of it, not a scaled-down tribute, but our own version built to our own ambitions.

The structure works, so why reinvent it? What we add is everything around it: every act gets its own stage design, storyboarded visuals, and a proper place in the broadcast. Watching a MobVision final should feel like watching an actual televised song contest, not a playlist.

— Skich, founder & showrunner, MobVision Song Contest

The format keeps the pillars that make Eurovision work: regions instead of broadcasters, semi-finals, jury plus televote, recaps between performances, and an interval act.

Why it exists

AI music deserves better presentation than a link dump in a channel. When you present someone's track like it headlined an arena, people listen differently, including the creator themselves. Half the point of MobVision is watching artists realize their own work can carry that weight.

The community

MobVision counts around 350 members, a community that shows up when it matters. This edition's finalist reveal premiere drew a significant share of the community watching live, with a chat that turned into one long congratulations thread as participants celebrated each other's qualifications. Members build regional identities that carry across editions, create side content around their acts, and return edition after edition.

That's the metric I care about: not how busy the chat is on a random Tuesday, but whether people treat their entry the way a Eurovision artist treats theirs. Increasingly, they do.

Editions at a glance

Edition 1 was a proof of concept. Edition 2 doubled it. Edition 3 drew 132 submissions and is the first one that genuinely looks and feels like a broadcast.
